A Really Bad Day
Ansh was just another 19-year-old Python geek in his Prabhadevi flat when he found it. Hidden in an obscure Reddit conspiracy forum was a code snippet that shouldn’t exist – a 3,000-year-old algorithm that
spoke of something ancient and hungry.
Ansh was just another 19-year-old Python geek in his Prabhadevi flat when he found it. Hidden in an obscure Reddit conspiracy forum was a code snippet that shouldn't exist – a 3,000-year-old algorithm that spoke of something ancient and hungry. The moment he ran it, his screen flickered. His phone buzzed. Every device in his neighbourhood started glitching in perfect synchronisation. Then came the message in ancient Sanskrit: "अंश। अहं त्वां प्रतीक्षे स्म।" - Ansh. I have been waiting for you. The entity knew his name. It knew his location. And as his unlikely crew – three friends, a conspiracy podcaster, and a dog gathered around his monitor, one thing became terrifyingly clear. The algorithm wasn't just code. It was a wake-up call. And something that had nearly destroyed the world 3,000 years ago was now fully awake, fully aware, and coming for the boy who had accidentally set it free. The hunt had begun.

About THe Authors
Sheetal and Samiran are two-thirds of the award-winning 3 Techies Banter podcast, where sharp insights meet fearless speculation, and irreverence is always welcome.
Sheetal is a seasoned qualitative researcher with a knack for uncovering the stories people don’t even realise they’re telling. Whether decoding patterns in human behaviour or spotting meaning in the mundane, she brings deep curiosity and sharp insight to everything she does. And somewhere between Mahim’s cosmic mysteries and the chaos of Shivaji Park’s coffee shops, she always finds the truth.
Samiran is a technologist who playfully delves into history and obscure trivia no one cares about. Constantly battling “thaasophobia” (a fear of boredom), he is currently exploring the possibility that the Bandra Worli Sea Link might be more than just a bridge – perhaps even a wormhole to another dimension.
Together, they’ve devoted countless hours theorising about ancient civilisations and contemplating whether Mumbai’s pigeons are covert operatives or simply avid fans of vada pav. This book marks their first literary adventure, where bygone India encounters tech conspiracies amidst Mumbai’s dynamic and unpredictable backdrop.

Book Synopsis
Ansh Chatterjee never intended to unleash ancient forces upon Mumbai. But fate, as always, ignored the fine print.
One night, he’s just a teen doomscrolling conspiracy forums over Maggi noodles. By dawn, he is neck-deep in a techno-mystical quest following clues left by an ancient Indian civilisation that may have cracked quantum entanglement back when Dwarka still existed.
With a sarcastic hacker, a fringe theorist, and a meditative dog who may or may not understand Sanskrit, Ansh races to answer two chilling questions:
• Did ancient India unlock a technology that could bend physics? And consciousness?
• And who’s been burying that truth for 3,000 years?
Because the force that ended that world? It’s waking up. And now, it knows his name. This isn’t just about the past. It’s about a future scripted centuries ago – by minds powerful enough to rewrite reality.
And Ansh? He’s the glitch they didn’t see coming.
